Fat pants!

I’ve just bought my first pair of maternity trousers, £1 from a local charity/thrift shop!

They’re huge on me at the moment, I’m only around 14 weeks so far and only have a small podge instead of a bump. I’m sure I’ll be grateful for them in a few months!

This sums up my year so far…I’ve suddenly grown up into a married woman with a baby on the way and, I won’t lie, it’s scaring me quite a bit!

Pregnancy seems to have hit me with a tsunami of paranoia. Anything from a misread text or seeming lack of empathy is reducing me into a quivering mess.

Hopefully it’ll pass quick-sharpish.

Tomorrow is World Book Day!

However…my school has decided to celebrate it on Friday, which I’m quite glad of as it’s always strange to go back to a normal day after one so different.

This year it looks like I’m going as Lucy Pensive from Lewis’ Classic The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Involving a toy lion and everything! I may still hunt for a shirt to go underneath the cardigan if I have the time tomorrow after work.

Long live books!

March Blessings?

shoesandthesmoggy:

21 years ago my father was cruelly taken from his young family by cancer. He has missed out on seeing how his little girl has blossomed into a woman and even into a mother. Now he will never get to be a part of my beautiful daughters life and give her the joy he gave to me for those 8 short years…

Hooray for baby Mower!

Practically v Prettiness

I was going to get dressed up for work tomorrow: possibly creating a new outfit, wearing my latest pair of IC’s etc…

Then I realised that tomorrow is the day that I have to move between the two sites. It almost always rains so I’m afraid practicality will be winning this one :(

Whilst on our honeymoon, I dragged my new husband to Conduit Street to gaze at the contents of Vivienne Westwood. I’d one thing in mind, and one thing only! The Ebury purse.

I realised that another trip such as this was never going to happen again so I splashed out and made the purchase, vowing that this purse would sustain me for years to come.

Thank you Auntie Viv!

His & Hers!

The new husband and I decided to buy Irregular Choices on our honeymoon in their Carnaby Street store. I tried some unicorns on but just didn’t feel secure enough in them, they were far too high! Zombunnies seemed the perfect replacement!

The hubby rarely treats himself, and I was well aware of his hidden dramatic side so these IC’s seemed the obvious choice.

To be honest, I just love the bags!

Two OOTN!!

On the left - my hen do!
Trousers - River Island
Jacket - ASOS
I majorly splashed out on this outfit…I’m only planning on having one hen do!

On the right - very belated Christmas night out!
Top - New Look
Skirt - ASOS curve
Belt - Primark
This was ridiculously comfortable, I also wore a leather jacket for the movement between pubs! The skirt is going on my honeymoon.

Real women have curves :)
