This sums up my year so far…I’ve suddenly grown up into a married woman with a baby on the way and, I won’t lie, it’s scaring me quite a bit!
Pregnancy seems to have hit me with a tsunami of paranoia. Anything from a misread text or seeming lack of empathy is reducing me into a quivering mess.
Hopefully it’ll pass quick-sharpish.
Tomorrow is World Book Day!
However…my school has decided to celebrate it on Friday, which I’m quite glad of as it’s always strange to go back to a normal day after one so different.
This year it looks like I’m going as Lucy Pensive from Lewis’ Classic The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Involving a toy lion and everything! I may still hunt for a shirt to go underneath the cardigan if I have the time tomorrow after work.
Long live books!
I was going to get dressed up for work tomorrow: possibly creating a new outfit, wearing my latest pair of IC’s etc…
Then I realised that tomorrow is the day that I have to move between the two sites. It almost always rains so I’m afraid practicality will be winning this one :(
Whilst on our honeymoon, I dragged my new husband to Conduit Street to gaze at the contents of Vivienne Westwood. I’d one thing in mind, and one thing only! The Ebury purse.
I realised that another trip such as this was never going to happen again so I splashed out and made the purchase, vowing that this purse would sustain me for years to come.
Thank you Auntie Viv!
His & Hers!
The new husband and I decided to buy Irregular Choices on our honeymoon in their Carnaby Street store. I tried some unicorns on but just didn’t feel secure enough in them, they were far too high! Zombunnies seemed the perfect replacement!
The hubby rarely treats himself, and I was well aware of his hidden dramatic side so these IC’s seemed the obvious choice.
To be honest, I just love the bags!
OOTD! ‘Twas a training day at work today…dress code: smart casual!
Dress - Primark
Cardi - Primark (I love the fringing!)
Tired look - half term-itus!
Real women have curves :)
On the left - my hen do!
Trousers - River Island
Jacket - ASOS
I majorly splashed out on this outfit…I’m only planning on having one hen do!
On the right - very belated Christmas night out!
Top - New Look
Skirt - ASOS curve
Belt - Primark
This was ridiculously comfortable, I also wore a leather jacket for the movement between pubs! The skirt is going on my honeymoon.
Real women have curves :)
INTERGALACTIC NAILS by Sophie Harris-Greenslade at The Illustrated Nail for @ASOS - Using @BarryMcosmetics Textured Glitter Nail Paints, @Illamasqua in “Creator”, @ModelsOwn nail art pens
"Want a mani that is outta this world? We thought so. Get intergalactic nails with a black base, a nail-art pen and loadsa glitter – it’s easier than you think. Try mixing things up with one nail a bit different, too. We love a white base with a cool Eye of Providence design (the all-seeing eye to you and me). Cosmic."
This is amazing, although I may have to find a water transfer for the symbol…I haven’t got a steady hand!
