Where do I begin.
So I had the misfortune of finding out that a photo taken of me on vacation by my boyfriend, was stolen and used without my permission here on the lovely r/fatpeoplehate on reddit. It not only disappoints me that people think that this behavior is okay, but that this subreddit even exists and hasn’t been removed at this point. There are TONS of photos of (mostly) women posted there; selfies stolen their personal blogs/facebooks/instagrams what have you (WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION), and posted on this horrible subreddit for people to harass them and leave hundreds of negative comments bravely behind their computer screens where no one can see them. I have always struggled with my weight and found it hard to get dressed and leave my bed some days, and have only recently started to accept the person I am after years of depression and health issues. I feel extremely violated and hurt that someone thought it was okay to take something that isn’t theirs, and use it for their own amusement and kicks.
We have since contacted reddit requesting them to remove this subreddit, but I find that doubtful considering how many removal requests they have probably received in the past for this forum, and it still remains active.
All I ask from you guys, is that you can please signal boost this post and hopefully get this horrible subreddit taken down for good for the sake of the poor unsuspecting people whose privacy has been violated and self worth diminished by these garbage people who have nothing better to do.
Fuck these people. Help me friend and many others who were violated and repost!
That’s absolutely awful. Xx
Outfit of the Night…
School prom. This one was special as it was the year group that I have worked with for the past 5 years. I won’t lie, there was a few times I felt myself welling up.
Dress - Primark
Kimono - Primark
Necklace - Primark (notice a pattern?!)
Luckily, even at almost 26 weeks, I’m not so big that I need maternity dresses - this one just stretched slightly and showed off my still podgy belly/bump!
Real women have curves :)
Top- H + M (£3.99)
Skirt- Primark ( £ 5 ) 💟
I have this skirt and not worn it yet because it needed more than just a plain white top…I’m off to H&M today! Thank you :) xx
My lovely put me into almost very early labor when I saw this gift bag… She kept it pristine for me knowing my adoration for fancy packaging (superficial I know). It just makes the friendship bracelet inside all the more beautiful :)
Birthday lovelies :)
I’ve been a little spoilt by the other half this year, I’ll be honest! Since we found out we’re expecting, I’ve almost flatly refused any little treats unless there’s a reason for them.
Last little treats before baby comes along and steals all our money!
I recently bought these…However, I’m not sure whether to keep them. I’m a little paranoid that they look too tight as I’m so used to loose fitting clothes.
I’m nearly 15 weeks pregnant and wanted something to cheer me up a bit but I’m debating whether I’d feel better with a bigger size (they’d last longer then!)
Real women have curves :)
I’ve just bought my first pair of maternity trousers, £1 from a local charity/thrift shop!
They’re huge on me at the moment, I’m only around 14 weeks so far and only have a small podge instead of a bump. I’m sure I’ll be grateful for them in a few months!
This sums up my year so far…I’ve suddenly grown up into a married woman with a baby on the way and, I won’t lie, it’s scaring me quite a bit!
Pregnancy seems to have hit me with a tsunami of paranoia. Anything from a misread text or seeming lack of empathy is reducing me into a quivering mess.
Hopefully it’ll pass quick-sharpish.
Tomorrow is World Book Day!
However…my school has decided to celebrate it on Friday, which I’m quite glad of as it’s always strange to go back to a normal day after one so different.
This year it looks like I’m going as Lucy Pensive from Lewis’ Classic The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Involving a toy lion and everything! I may still hunt for a shirt to go underneath the cardigan if I have the time tomorrow after work.
Long live books!
